Article 28 "You have the right to a good quality education."

Unicef / Clarks SHOE Share

As a launch to Redbridge Primary School becoming a Rights Respecting School we asked our staff, children, parents, guardians, family and friends to donate unwanted shoes to help UNICEF to reach even more children in danger.  The shoes that were brought into school will help to change children’s lives by buying educational equipment such as the ‘School in a Box’.

‘School in a Box’ can transform any space into a learning area, with enough resources to educate 40 children, allowing them the chance to learn, no matter where they are, or what disaster has struck them.

Clarks have been working in partnership with UNICEF since 2008 supporting the education of vulnerable children by raising money through shoe donations. ShoeShare drop off points are in more than 500 Clarks stores nationwide.

UNICEF is the world’s leading organisation for children, ensuring more children are fed, vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. UNICEF works with families, local communities, partners and governments in more than 190 countries to help every child realise their full potential. In everything we do, the most disadvantaged children and the countries in greatest need have priority. UNICEF UK is a registered charity and is funded by voluntary contributions.
