 REDBRIDGE RACKET SKILLS

Our Year 1’s and 2’s have had a smashing time at the Racket skills festival this Monday, at Redbridge Community School.  With new games and exciting equipment our children explored many different skills whilst having lots of fun.  The most enjoyable station was the bounce boards, where we got to shoot bouncy balls to our partners in a relay activity.  They really knocked it out the park with how they represented our school and each and every one of them left with a big smile on their face.

Leo (Y1) stood out especially, showing amazing hand and eye co-ordination skills in hand tennis.  Every activity we played Leo excelled in and he showed such joy to be participating.  Both myself and Miss Maunders commented on how well he behaved and what a great addition to the team he has been this day!                                                                                                                                                               Reported by Miss Crompton (Sports Coach)
